Alex Burnside - Relationship Manager

Alex Burnside is a Relationship Manager, responsible for helping corporate partners plan and execute their United Way campaigns. She also heads up Campaign Coordinator trainings and runs our Small Business Program. Alex graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Political Science. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two black labs and serving as a Pure Barre class instructor.

Hope Collins - Corporate Giving Director

As the Corporate Giving Director, Hope Collins supports corporate partners with executing their annual campaigns, as well as connecting them with year-round engagement efforts. Hope also supports the team with new business and campaign acquisition. She is a Clemson University graduate with a degree in Communications. After graduating, Hope served as a Loaned Executive for United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County and got hooked on United Way's mission. Hope and her husband Colby have a little girl named Liddy and in her free time she loves getting cuddles from her precious girl, going on walks with her Boykin Spaniel, Murray, practicing yoga, cooking and entertaining friends and neighbors.

Ann Lawrence Ellerbe - Corporate Giving Manager

Ann Lawrence Ellerbe serves as a Corporate Giving Manager supporting corporate partners as they plan and execute their annual United Way campaigns. Ann Lawrence also helps connect companies with year-round engagement efforts as well as securing new businesses to help maximize revenue. This year she is helping lead Campaign Coordinator Training. A Greenville native and huge Clemson fan you can find her cheering on her Tigers! She also enjoys spending time on Lake Hartwell with her husband, Fitz and black lab, Maple and traveling when she can.

Paula Elrod - Prospect Management & Development Director

Paula Elrod oversees the technology and software used in conducting electronic workplace campaigns—providing an online solution that captures real-time contributions for companies, offering corporate match options and volunteer opportunities while promoting year-round engagement. As the primary leader of our donor software and database, she also provides enhancements and customizations to assist developing and maintaining a data-driven culture. When not at work, Paula can be found on a ball field or inside a school gymnasium watching her children play sports—baseball, football, basketball, softball and volleyball!

Angela Henson - Prospect Development Manager

Angela Henson is the Prospect Development Manager and responsible for creating and maintaining the Campaign Workplace Giving Portal websites. She assists donors with the functionality of the portal sites and helps to maintain the accuracy of the data. Angela is a steadfast supporter of education and community involvement. She volunteers with an animal rescue and Big Brothers Big Sisters in Buncombe County, where she lives with her beloved dogs and cats (yes, she really does make the hour plus drive every day). In her free time, she likes to cuddle up with her pets to read a good book or binge a show or two on Netflix.

Kate Malewich - Corporate Giving Manager

As a Corporate Giving Manager, Kate Malewich is responsible for securing resources to help meet the needs of the most vulnerable in our community. She works with existing corporate partners helping to plan and execute their annual United Way campaigns and exploring potential for new partnerships with companies in Greenville County. Kate is an alum of Auburn University with a degree in Journalism. She enjoys spending time with her husband eating at Greenville's newest restaurants and traveling the world.

Willard Ramsey - Resource Development Coordinator

Willard Ramsey serves as the Resource Development Coordinator. He is responsible for ensuring that the Workplace Relationships department has all the support they needs. Will wears many hats including event coordination, data input and keeping things running smoothly. Outside of the office, Will enjoys baking, cooking and reading. He is also a classically trained pianist.

Lee Anne Scales - Vice President of Corporate Giving

Lee Anne Scales is the Vice President of Corporate Giving and manages the entire Corporate Development Team. She is responsible for 5 key large corporate relationships and helps plan their tailored, year-round involvement with United Way. Business development is a strategic focus that Lee Anne helps lead alongside the whole team. Developing relationships with new businesses and forming new partnerships is essential in raising as much money as possible for this community. Lee Anne is also responsible for recruiting and managing the Campaign Cabinet, a group of dynamic volunteers, and works directly with the Campaign Chair. She is from Greenville, SC, and a Clemson University graduate. On the weekends, she enjoys spending time with family at Lake Hartwell.

Kaylea Scalzitti - Corporate Giving Manager

Kaylea Scalzitti is a Corporate Giving Manager at United Way of Greenville County. Kaylea works with corporate partners to execute their annual giving campaigns as well as securing new businesses to help maximize revenue. Kaylea also helps lead Campaign Coordinator Training. Kaylea graduated from the College of Charleston with a degree in Psychology. In her free time, you can find her biking, hiking with her dog or traveling with friends and family.

Josh Sims - Chief Development Officer

Josh Sims is the Chief Development Officer, provides strategic leadership and oversight of the annual giving campaign, major gifts from individuals, corporations and foundations. Sims comes to United Way with more than 13 years of experience in fundraising, holding frontline and leadership roles at both Furman University and Baylor University. At Furman, Sims served as the Director of Major Gifts and played a vital role in executing The Furman Advantage campaign. Following his time at Furman, he re-joined Baylor University as the Senior Director of Regional Development before joining the United Way team in November of 2020. When he’s not working he is with his wife Cara, and their five children.

Kaytina Mills - Associate Corporate Giving Manager

As an Associate Corporate Giving Manager, Kaytina Mills partners with individuals and companies to secure resources in order to give all people the ability to achieve their full potential in Greenville County. She is responsible for executing corporate campaigns, as well as connecting corporations with year-round engagement opportunities. She graduated from Clemson University with a Communication major. In her free time, her and her husband enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking, and playing with her brown lab puppy Cely.
